Iowa's First Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center  

Two Iowa Clinic Surgeons Play Key Role in New Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center

Dr. Sue Beckwith and Dr. Michael Page are two of seven physicians who have joined forces in the opening of Iowa's first center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease.  With four locations in Des Moines and one in Clive, The Iowa Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center (IBD Center) offers integrated patient-centered care for adult and pediatric patients in need of treatment for inflammatory bowel disease including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.   

The IBD Center offers an array of services from diagnosis to treatment programs, surgical procedures and follow-up care.  The IBD Center is a collaborative initiative of the Iowa Digestive Disease Center, The Iowa Clinic, the Children's Center at Mercy Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic and Mercy Medical Center Des Moines. 

Both Dr. Beckwith and Dr. Page are board certified by the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.  In addition, Dr. Beckwith and Dr. Page are members of the Colorectal Surgery Division of The Iowa Clinic P.C.
