The Iowa Clinic is Expanding to Meet Your Healthcare Needs

The Iowa Clinic is planning a major expansion in West Des Moines. The Iowa Clinic West Lakes Campus, located at 5950 University Avenue, will double in size with an 85,000 square foot addition. “We are expanding the facility to meet the growing demand of services requested at our West Lakes facility,” says Chief Executive Officer C. Edward Brown. “We currently see approximately 150,000 patients per year at this location and anticipate continued growth.”

The new addition will allow The Iowa Clinic to expand existing specialty offices such as cardiology, vascular surgery and vein therapy, internal medicine and medical imaging. The additional square footage will also make room for new services such as a sleep lab, pulmonary medicine and urology.
 
The building project is expected to take 14 months to complete with the expanded facility opening in the fall of 2008.
